- What is Interfob?
Interfob - the annual meeting of students of Wood Engineering. The first Interfob was held in 1988 among three French schools. It was established by the Euroligna (the European Network for Advanced Wood Processing and Engineering Education), the umbrella organisation for connections between international Wood Engineering Schools, founded in 1987. Since 1989 each year the annual meeting is held in a different European country and is entirely organised by the students of the hosting country. In 2006 it will be the honour of the students of the Wood Science and Technology Department of the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana to organise the latest Interfob.

- Mission…
In the world of forestry and wood technology the European cooperation plays a very important role. Basis of all international communication is a mutual understanding of the different cultures. We want to contribute to this understanding across borders by inviting students of wood-related ubjects from all European countries to an extraordinary meeting of international exchange.
